Preview: Kiwi will look to bounce back, Pakistan hungry for series victory
Dubai, 1st T20, 05th December' 2014.
Kiwi will look to bounce back after their dismal performance with bat and ball, however Pakistan will look to maintain the pressure for series victory.
Team news that Shahzad is fit again after the fever and may replace Zia. New Zealand will look towards other bowling option after their bowlers fared dismal in 1st T20.
Opening for the first time in a T20 international,Sarfraz Ahmed made a breezy unbeaten 76 to steer Pakistan to a seven-wicket win over New Zealand at the Dubai International Stadium. Sarfraz put on 51 with Awais Zia for the first wicket, and an unbroken 43 with Umar Akmal for the fourth wicket, to take Pakistan past their target of 136 with five balls remaining, Akmal ending the contest with a straight six off James Neesham.
With back to back T20 match, fitness may be questioned and both team will look to rest few players.
Pakistan Probable 11 : Sarfraz, Zia, Hafeez, Sohail, Umar Akmal, Afridi, Nasim, Gul, Tanvir, Hasan, Mohd Irfan.
New Zealand Probable 11 : Guptill, Williamson, Devcich, Taylor, Anderson, Ronchi, Nathan McCullum, Vettori, Milne, McClenaghan
Pick more all rounders which will definitely fare better in slow deck of Dubai. Bowlers of Pakistan could be the key.
